Two clubs in opposite halves of the Serie A table will do battle today in a league match between Juventus and Cagliari. The first-division clash scheduled for 9 a.m. ET will be held at Juventus Stadium in Turin and can be live streamed here free.
The title has been decided, but the future of Juventus remained very much a question mark, so much so that Andrea Pirlo feared manager Antonio Conte departing the club (h/t to Forza Italia). "[Carlos] Tevez and [Fernando] Llorente gave us a big help, but the group spirit was the winning weapon," Pirlo told SkyTg24.
"Conte gave us a lot, and I hope that the one on Sunday will not be his last game with Juventus."
Fortunately for Pirlo, Tuttosport (via Football Italia) is reporting that Antonio Conte has already signed a contract with the club that runs until 2018. The man that could be responsible for the first 100-point season in Serie A history will have another four years to solidify his place in the pantheons of Italian football.
Will Juventus, however, get the necessary point this afternoon to begin that legend? Tell us @SportsWN
