Former Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson has returned to ESPN as an analyst on a two-year contract. Jackson will be active for the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals.
Jackson’s first game will be the Heat and Pacers game one matchup where he will reunite with play-by-play commentator Mike Breen and fellow analyst Jeff Van Gundy. The trio had called five straight NBA Finals starting back in 2011.
Steve Kerr to the Warriors and NYC should get ready for Mark Jackson to be their next head coach.

It is unknown what this deal does to Jackson’s eligibility to take a head coaching position if one were offered to him, but it doesn't look like Jackson would be interested in the New York Knick job. Jackson played in the NBA for 17 season and lead the Warriors to a franchise high 51-31 record and a playoff birth. Jackson has already been replaced in Golden State by Steve Kerr, who was also an analyst.
My son is playing NBA2K14. Suns v. Warriors. So I'm hearing Steve Kerr talk about how much the Dubs love playing for Coach Mark Jackson...

Jackson finished his Warrior career 121-109 in three seasons and made the playoffs twice.
