WWE News and Rumors [VIDEO]: Sheamus' Heel Turn Update: WWE Plan Failed on Raw, Drastic Move Coming Soon For Celtic Warrior?

It has been reported that the WWE wants to turn Sheamus heel, but rumor has it that the WWE tried to turn him heel on last week's episode of Monday Night RAW, however the crowd didn't seem to realize it and the heel turn didn't go over. Now, the WWE may decide to do something more drastic to get the point across.

Update On Batista's Status For The Next Month

There were conflicting reports about Sheamus turning heel last week as the speculation went back and forth with it being rumored that Sheamus will be turning heel while a list of the top four babyfaces the company plans on pushing going forward leaked and Sheamus was on it along with John Cena, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Cesaro, who is a heel right now.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE wanted to turn Sheamus heel last Monday when he won the United States Championship in a 20-man over-the-top-rope battle royal by last eliminating Dean Ambrose. According to the report, when Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on Ambrose in the battle royal, that was supposed to signal his heel turn.

The fans and viewers didn't seem to pick up on the character change, so it remains to be seen if the WWE does something more drastic to get Sheamus over as a heel after the botched turn on RAW.

It had been reported that the WWE was waiting until after the European tour that starts this week and runs through May 24 to turn Sheamus heel because the company realizes that the Dublin, Ireland native is going to get cheered in Europe no matter what his alignment is and they didn't want him to lose his momentum as a freshly turned heel by having him cheered overseas.

It looks as though the WWE changed its stance on this since they wanted to turn him last Monday, and it will be interesting to see if they go through with a full-fledged turn before the tour ramps up.

There was speculation that Sheamus may join Randy Orton and Triple H in Evolution to keep the group afloat when Batista goes on a two-month hiatus following Payback on June 1 in Chicago, but it remains to be seen if that happens.

Sheamus was snarky on Twitter regarding internet fans referring to him as Triple H's workout buddy and went on a bit of a rant. No word on whether or not that was just for his heel character or if he was legitimately upset. Sheamus reportedly had a backstage fight with Sin Cara that saw Sin Cara get the better of him, but "The Celtic Warrior" also denied that report on Twitter.

While the reports of a possible heel turn have been mixed, it would appear as though the WWE is gearing up to turn Sheamus as they already tried to last Monday.
