Josh Gordon Suspension: Marijuana Will Cost Browns Wide Receiver Entire 2014 Season? [VIDEO]

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon faces another suspension, this time for failing a drug test conducted months ago, after he was suspended two games last season.

This time, according to sources per ESPN's "Outside the Lines", Gordon failed the drug test for marijuana.

ESPN was able to get in touch with the 23-year old, but he passed the responsibility of verifying the report to his agent Drew Rosenhaus. According to the website, Gordon told them: "I'm going to have to find out about that later. You need to call Drew."

Gordon is considered the best playmaker on the Browns and would benefit best from the drafting of Johnny Manziel this season. Manziel, taken as the 22nd pick in the NFL draft, is expected to challenge Brian Hoyer for the starting quarterback job.

Sources told the ESPN program that the latest violation of Gordon stemmed from marijuana being discovered during a drug test. One source said the wide receiver had known the result after receiving a letter from a league physician. In late April, another letter was said to have been received by Gordon informing him of the 16-game suspension.

This is not something new for Gordon, as he has had drug-testing problems in college before. He was suspended twice and dismissed from Baylor for marijuana use, then transferred to Utah but did not suit up after failing another dope test.

Despite his two-game suspension last year, Gordon led his team with 87 receptions and nine touchdowns. He also led the league in receiving yards with 1,646.
