Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a cup match between San Lorenzo and Cruzeiro. The quarterfinal clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Pedro Bidegain in Buenos Aires and can be live streamed here free.
After finishing two legs deadlocked at one, It took the dreaded penalty kicks for San Lorenzo to advance past Brazilian outfit Gremio in the Round of 16. Manager Edgardo Bauza, however, isn't satisfied with just that. Nothing has been won nor celebrated yet (h/t to El Universo). "We haven't achieved anything," Bauza said.
"But I'm seeing a club that's more mature and aware of its limitations and capabilities. The team has demonstrated great development and trust as we go toward goal," he added.
"It's not easy to beat San Lorenzo at this time. Against Cruzeiro, we're going to go out and play like we always have."
