Warrior's wife Dana A. Warrior has taken to his official Twitter account several times since his death to share some messages with his fans. The Warrior was a memorable and often controversial figure in the world of the WWE and professional wrestling.

Despite having a long lasting rivalry with several people in professional wrestling, including WWE CEO Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan, Warrior was able to make amends with both those men and many others during a weekend of redemption that saw him get inducted into the Hall of Fame on April 5 and make his first appearances at WrestleMania and on Monday Night RAW in 18 years the following two nights.

Less than 24 hours after appearing on RAW and delivering a chilling promo about life, death and his legacy, The Warrior collapsed while walking to his car at an Arizona hotel with his family and eventually passed away at the hospital due to a cardiac episode stemming from complications with heart disease.

The WWE honored Warrior the next night on RAW with a tribute video and 10-bell salute, and dedicated "Warrior Week" to him on the WWE Network in a series of specials that included The Warrior: The Ultimate Legend, a special on his career that included cameras following him during his Hall of Fame weekend.

Warrior, 54, passed away on April 8, but he has left behind a lasting legacy in professional wrestling and had a very rewarding final weekend of his life.
