Tim Tebow News: Joel McHale Mocks Tebow at White House Correspondents' Dinner, Involves Richard Sherman [VIDEO]

Out-of-work NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is now even subject to ridicule at the likes of the White House Correspondents' dinner.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, with Tebow and Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning cornerback Richard Sherman among the athletes in attendance last weekend at the D.C. held event, host Joel McHale teased "Richard Sherman has already had an impact on tonight's event. He's intercepted all three of Tim Tebow's attempts to pass the dinner rolls."

Tim Tebow still chasing NFL dreams

Tebow last played in the NFL with the Jets in 2012, attempting just six passes that year. Since then and despite much speculation about an imminent return, the former Heisman Trophy winner has been unable to land with another NFL team, sans a brief training camp stint as Tom Brady's would-be backup in New England.

That's not say the former Florida star and two-time national champion hasn't been busy. He recently signed on to be the face of ESPN's new SEC Network, though he is rumored to have a clause in his contract that would allow him to walk away from the gig should an NFL team ever come calling.

In addition, Tebow has been as busy as ever with his missionary work, recently announcing he plans to open a children's charity hospital near his Philippine homeland. Tebow has also worked as a motivational speaker and endorsed such high profile products as Nike, T-Mobile and TiVo.

Joining Tebow and Sherman on the list of athletes at Saturday night's dinner were Russell Wilson, Lindsey vonn, Cam Newton, Tony romo, Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, J,J. Watt, Kirk Cousins and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
