TIGERS vs WHITE SOX Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from CHICAGO

Today at 2:10 p.m. ET, the Detroit Tigers (13-9) and Chicago White Sox (14-14) take the field against each other at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago for the second and final game of their quick two-game set. The game can be live streamed here. Detroit fans can hear all of the action on 97.1 The Ticket while Chicago fans can do the same on WSCR 670.

The Tigers look to sweep this short two-game set in the second series of an eight-game three series road trip that they are currently 2-1 on with a postponement in Minnesota while the White Sox look to split this series to end their six-game homestand on which they are currently 3-2.

These two teams split a four-game set in Detroit last week, alternating wins and each finishing 2-2.

Max Scherzer (2-1, 2.45 ERA) takes the bump for Detroit while Hector Noesi (0-1, 11.74 ERA) makes his first start for Chicago since being claimed off waivers on Friday.

Noesi hasn't started since 2012 with the Seattle Mariners, but he's taking it day-by-day when he faces the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner who is 6-1 over his last 10 starts against the White Sox.

"Well, today is today, tomorrow is tomorrow," Noesi told MLB.com on Tuesday. "For now, I don't plan anything. I just try to think and just go with it and do my stuff and make my pitches."

The White Sox have scored plenty of runs this season and shortstop Alexei Ramirez (.355) is tied for fourth in the league in batting average while rookie first baseman Jose Abreu paces the league in homers (10) and RBIs (32).

Tigers corner infielder Miguel Cabrera is hitting .270 this season with two homers and 15 RBIs, and he picked up a pair of hits on Tuesday to postition himself at 22nd all-time on the Tigers career hits list with 1,177.

The Tigers and White Sox close out their brief two-game series when they take the field this afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.
