Daniel Bryan Status Update Following His Father's Death: WWE Champion To Miss Several Live Events As He Grieves

We have a new Daniel Bryan update regarding his current status following the death of his father last Monday, his schedule for this weekend pertaining to WWE live events, and the latest Daniel Bryan rumors as to whether or not he will miss the Raw before Extreme Rules.

According to WrestlingHeadlines.com, the latest report is that Daniel Bryan has traveled back to Washington state to be with his family following the sudden death of his father. As a result, Bryan will miss WWE live weekend events including tonight's house show at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. The main event for tonight is scheduled to be The Shield vs. The Wyatts and Kane.

Interestingly enough, the Bella Twins are still advertised to appear on the show, but Brie Bella could also still be back in Washington with Daniel Bryan as all cards are subject to change.

WWE Raw Spoilers and Rumors for Extreme Rules

Bryan was written off of TV at the very beginning of last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, when Stephanie McMahon engineered an attack on the WWE Champion by his former Team Hell No tag team partner and resurrected "Big Red Monster" Kane.

The attack featured three Tombstone Piledrivers to Daniel Bryan at or near the ring, and it was done so well that WWE officials have actually said that Bryan could skip the next episode of Monday Night Raw if need be.

Batista criticizes negative WWE fans in latest Twitter rant

Even if Daniel Bryan does wind up being gone from WWE until Extreme Rules, no matter what the WWE Champion will defend his title against Kane on that PPV event next Sunday.

Meanwhile, Bryan has not posted anything on Twitter over the past week, which makes sense considering the circumstances both in real-life and with the existing storyline.
