If Kobe Bryant can wait, or even last that long, he may be pleased by his L.A, Lakers long-term plans.

Kobe not sure about Mike D'Antoni as coach?
With the contracts of 11 of their 15 players expiring at some point this summer, the L.A. Times reports the Lakers plan to be extra careful in how they spend money this summer, believing that their true windfall lies in chasing the two twentysomething-year old stars as they become available.
The question is what of next year, and doing all they can to assure that the ultra-competitive Bryant isn't forced to endure a season the likes of which the Lakers just concluded. Bryant is expected to be back healthy and ready to go next season, recently tweeting to Lakers' fans to "flush" this season and how next year will be "epic."
