Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a group match between Emelec and Flamengo. The Group 7 clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio George Capwell in Guayaquil. Information on how and where to stream the match live can be found here.
Both clubs enter today's match in desperate need of three points. For Emelec, a victory would allow them to leap Bolivar for first in the Group 7 table with nine points. For Flamengo, a victory is of the utmost importance for the club to even have a chance of advancing to the knockout round of the Copa Libertadores.
Flamengo managed to defeat Emelec in their first encounter back in February. Goals from Elano, Hernane and Everton were enough to bury the Ecuadorian outfit early in the match. They'll look for a repeat performance at the Estadio George Capwell this afternoon.
