Two clubs chasing UEFA Champions League glory will do battle today in a cup match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. The quarterfinal clash scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid and can be live streamed here.
For Real Madrid, today's match against Borussia Dortmund will serve as an opportunity to exact revenge. The German outfit eliminated the Merengues in last year's Champions League semifinal with a 4-3 aggregate score. As a result, manager Carlo Ancelotti expects great intensity from Madrid at the Bernabéu (h/t to SB Nation). "The atmosphere is good, we are motivated. We are very excited by Champions League," Ancelotti said.
"We look forward to this competition, so far we have done very well. We are the only team that has not lost in this competition and the team is ready to give one hundred percent," he added.
"The team is ready, and when I said the atmosphere is good I meant the fans will make a good atmosphere too and they will help us."
"We're going to try to play a game with great intensity, we need to do this to find offensive solutions. I am not worried because what we need is just that, not slowing down."
