Los Angeles Lakers rumors [VIDEO]: Kevin Love not interested in coming to L.A.?

There has been a lot of speculation that Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love will end up in Los Angeles with the Lakers either via a trade or through free agency at the conclusion of the 2014-15 NBA season, however it appears as though Love isn't sold on ending up in L.A.

Love has ties to the area since he's from Santa Monica and even played for the UCLA Bruins, however despite the fact that the Timberwolves won't make the playoffs this season, the forward believes that Minnesota is ahead of Los Angeles as far as rebuilding goes and realizes they're ahead of them in the standings as well.

According to ESPN, there is a belief that Love wouldn't mind moving on to a big city, however it isn't necessarily Los Angeles.

The report indicates that Minnesota may deal Love to start a rebuilding program by acquiring pieces in exchange for the power forward, however Los Angeles may not be his desired location.

Los Angeles could find themselves in a bidding war with other teams because Love enjoys the idea of being "big time in a big city," which could mean he ends up in either Los Angeles, Chicago with the Bulls or playing for the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.

The Timberwolves are currently 36-36 and outside of the playoff picture for the ninth straight season while the Lakers sit at 25-48 and will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2005.

It remains to be seen if Love will be moved and where he'll end up if he does get dealt. Love averages 26.3 points, 12.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this season.
