Two clubs in opposite halves of the Spanish Liga table will do battle today in a league match between Villarreal and Elche. The first-division clash scheduled for 1 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio El Madrigal in Villarreal and can be live streamed here free.
Though Villarreal enters today's match 17 points ahead of their opposition, manager Marcelino Garcia Toral believes they are at a disadvantage. The two days of less rest for his men is something he believes will ultimately decide the contest against Elche (h/t to Informacion). "Resting two days less than Elche is a handicap for us," Toral said.
"It's going to cost us a lot, but we're going to try and take advantage of our opponent's mistakes."
