NBA rumors: Kobe wants Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins for Lakers, wants to be serve as mentor [VIDEO]

Kobe Bryant wants to serve as a personal mentor for likely lottery draft picks Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins should either of them land with the L.A. Lakers.

Bryant tells LakersNation.com both have "great potential" and he'd welcome the chance "to mentor either one."

Kobe doesn't want Mike D'Antoni as coach?

Tankathon.com reports the Lakers currently have a 22 percent chance of landing theTop 3 pick that will almost certainly be needed to land either freshmen star and a 6.3 percen tof netting the top overall selection.

With Bryant sidelined for all but six games, the Lakers have struggled through one of the worst seasons in the franchise's storied history, thereby increasing their chances of landing one of the two stars that have perhaps riveted fans more than any others in the collegiate games this season.

Kobe warns opponents revenge will be sweet

Should either star land in L.A., they almost certainly will find Bryant already positioned there. The Lakers signed the Hall of Fame bound guard to a two-year, $48.5 million extension in November and Bryant has vowed to return at levels somewhere near he regularly reached over the course of his 18-year career.
