Johnny Manziel’s Pro Day has come and gone and for the most part was very impressive. The Former Texas A&M QB has solidified himself into the first round of the NFL Draft.

Manziel completed 61 of 64 attempts with the three incompletions coming on two bad throws and a dropped pass. Overall Manziel was quite impressive and showed positive strides toward being an NFL quarterback. In typical Manziel fashion, his last throw was a monster bomb to fellow first round prospect Mike Evans which prompted someone from the crowd to yell BOOM. The coaches and media all seemed to be impressed with Manziel’s showing and the guts he showed by wearing his upper body pads for the workout. Although Manziel under threw some deep balls throughout the workout the overall mood was encouraging for Manziel.

Manziel solidified himself into the first round and most likely the top half of the first round. Manziel will now hold private workouts for teams that inquire about his services. The NFL Draft is May 8th and for the latest mock drafts look to Sports World News every Friday.
