CM Punk rumors [VIDEO]: Bella Twins discuss Punk quitting WWE, say it doesn't change Daniel Bryan or John Cena's standing

Most of the WWE roster has been mum on the subject of CM Punk, however the Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie, discussed Punk leaving in a recent interview on The Sam Roberts Show, as well as the effect it had on John Cena and Daniel Bryan.

Nikki dates Cena while Brie is engaged to Bryan, but both ladies didn't believe that Punk leaving changed Cena or Bryan's standing with the company since they were already both in a good spot as top guys.

The Bellas also said that they weren't too sure about the details behind Punk's departure and weren't able to give much insight into whether or not he'd be returning to the company. Brie Bella noted that Cena is excited about new guys in the company getting into good spots, such as Cesaro.

Triple H reportedly offended that CM Punk didn't want to wrestle him at WrestleMania XXX

Punk walked out on the WWE prior to a live Monday Night RAW telecast on Jan. 27 on the night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Punk was growing increasingly frustrated and burned out over the years, and his role at WrestleMania XXX was the last straw for him and led to him departing the company.

Punk was set to face Triple H at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, but he wanted to be in the main event. With his contract set to expire in July and a burned out Punk not looking to re-sign, he knew that this year's event would be his last chance to main event the biggest show of the year, however he wasn't booked to main event.

Punk has been put on the backburner at WrestleMania the last few years while The Rock and Batista returned from long stints away to headline the biggest show of the year, something Punk was hoping to do after touring the world all-year-round and taxing his body night in and night out.

Punk didn't want to face Triple H, which reportedly was offensive to the WWE's COO. While Vince McMahon hoped to get Punk back, it appears as though he won't be returning to the company. Punk recently skipped out on the RAW episode from his hometown of Chicago on March 3 while he flew all the way to Los Angeles to appear on AMC's Talking Dead television program, irking WWE officials.

Punk's contract expires in July, but the "Best in the World" will likely not be appearing on WWE television to see it through.
