Tonight, at 7:10 p.m. ET, No. 12 SF Austin (32-2. 18-0 Southland) and No. 4 UCLA (27-8, 12-6 Pac-12) take the court at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl in San Diego, Calif. as part of the NCAA March Madness tournament in Round 3 action in the Southern bracket. The game can be live streamed for free here or viewed on TBS. SF Austin fans can hear all of the action on KYKS 105 while UCLA fans can do the same on KLAC 570.
SF Austin is coming off of an overtime stunner over VCU that proved to be the team's first ever NCAA tournament win while UCLA cruised to a victory over Tulsa.
First-year coach Steve Alford is looking to get UCLA back to their tradition of excellence after the team has failed to make it to the Sweet 16 in the past six years.
"There is not another place in the country that hangs 11 national championship banners," Alford said Saturday, according to ESPN "There is not another place in the country that has an icon legend like John Wooden that's done that much for basketball on and off the court and a bar that's raised like that."
SF Austin enjoyed a police escort after notching their big win over VCU.
"I think the police escort is pretty cool," junior forward Jacob Parker, who leads the team with 7.1 rebounds per game told ESPN. "Me and Thomas [Walkup] were talking in the room the other day, the Gatorade and the water in the locker room is nice."
Desmond Haymon leads SFU in scoring with 14.3 points per game while Jordan Adams paces UCLA with 17.2 per game. Kyle Anderson leads UCLA in rebounds (8.8) and assists (6.6) per game.
March Madness continues when SF Austin and UCLA tip off tonight in San Diego.
