Two clubs in the top half of the Liga MX table will do battle today in a league match between Morelia and Santos Laguna. The first-division clash scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Morelos in Morelia and can be live streamed here free.
Under the new guidance of manager Ángel Comizzo, Morelia enters today's match riding a two-match winning streak. With modest form, the club has been able to climb into the top half of the Liga MX table, just one point behind today's opposition. It has also left Santos Laguna boss Pedro Caixinha worried about the difficult task of facing a rejuvenated squad (h/t to Goal). "They're a club that have a different dynamic compared to what we've seen, especially under this new manager and in the last match against Monterrey," Caixinha said.
"The relationship between a player and coach is really important and benefits everyone. It also lets players leave it all on the pitch with an identity and idea of their play," he added. "That's what we expect. They are playing at home and will try to come out and play their game, but so will we."
