Two clubs chasing UEFA Europa League glory will do battle today in a cup match between Real Betis and Sevilla. The Round of 16 clash scheduled for 4 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Seville and can be live streamed here.
Despite horrendous league form—the club currently sits at the bottom of the Spanish Liga BBVA table—Real Betis enter today's confrontation with Sevilla holding a 2-0 aggregate lead. That, however, isn't enough for Betis forward Cedrick. Other priorities remain (h/t to Sky Sports). "We're going to go out the same. The advantage we have could give us a bit of calm, but derbies are different, unique," Cedrick said. "We've spent the whole season playing with pressure. We have respect but we don't fear anybody. It's a special game, but nothing more," he added.
"It's nice for us to get so far in Europe. We can be happy for that but we have a responsibility in the league and we're suffering. We have to accept that and continue working. The season will not be fixed if we get through [in the Europa League], only if we stay up. We would be much happier if we stay in the Primera Division."
