Two clubs in opposite halves of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Aston Villa and Chelsea. The first-division clash scheduled for 1: 30 p.m. ET will be held at Villa Park in Birmingham and can be live streamed here free.
Another weekend provides Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho another opportunitiy to continue his habitual blather. During the week, the current boss found it laughable that his own player Eden Hazard—more on him later—hadn't won the player of the month award. It was presented to Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge instead. That, however, didn't stop Mourinho from sharing his opinion (h/t to the Telegraph). "I think Sam deserves it," he said. "I think he won four consecutive matches in February. When you win every match in the month, normally you have to win the award. I didn't in some months where I won every match, but that's me. Sam deserves it because he works with West Ham like a shotgun, taking the team from a dangerous position," he added.
"For Hazard to arrive in March without one single award makes me laugh."
Chelsea have spent the last few weeks laughing at the opposition. The club are currently atop the Premier League table with 66 points. Will they continue to flex their title-contending muscle in Birmingham?
