Two clubs in opposite halves of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Fulham and Newcastle United. The first-division clash scheduled for 11 a.m. ET will be held at Craven Cottage in London and can be live streamed here free

Newcastle United enter the weekend—and the next six—without manager Alan Pardew. The Englishman was handed a seven-match ban and fined a total of £160,000 after head-butting Hull City's David Meyler last week. That is a punishment Pardew is willing to take, however. The manager feared far worse (h/t to the BBC). "When you are in the public eye, like I am, and an incident like that happens, you have to fear for your future," said Pardew. "Mike acted swiftly and I accepted that, and we go forward," he added.

"I have to say that in this interim period since the incident, the backing I have had from the club in particular has been a really big help to me because obviously, it's been difficult."

The ban set two Premier League records according to the BBC. This is the longest suspension for a manager and the first-ever stadium ban. Will the Magpies be able to cope without their manager, or will they fall to a Fulham side desperate for points?
