Two clubs in the bottom-half of the Spanish Liga BBVA table will do battle today in a league match between Osasuna and Malaga. The first-division battle scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at El Sadar Stadium in Pamplona, Spain and can be live streamed here free.
With the other 16 clubs in Spain already looking ahead to Week 28, Osasuna and Malaga will look to punctuate Week 27 with a positive result of their own. For Malaga, today’s trip to Pamplona presents an opportunity to end the club’s current four-match winless streak and fall level on points with their opposition (29 points). That task, however, is easier said than done.
Neither Real Madrid, Barcelona nor Atletico Madrid—the three current leaders sitting atop the Spanish table—were able to capture a victory at El Sadar Stadium. Barcelona suffered a scoreless draw earlier in the season. Real Madrid followed suit with a 2-2 draw of their own. Atletico Madrid suffered a fate far worse. A 3-0 loss to Los Rojillos put a damper on the club’s title hopes.
Will Malaga be able to do something neither of the three Spanish powers were able to this season? Tell us @SportsWN
