Two clubs separated by just two points in the Mexican table will do battle tonight in a league match between Los Xolos of Tijuana and Chivas Guadalajara. The Liga MX clash scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Caliente in Mexico and be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.
Both clubs enter matchday 10 looking for more favorable results. Chivas were unable to defend their home turf in Week 9. A scoreless draw with the Tigres of U.A.N.L. was the club's fourth draw of the 2014 Clausura and only allowed the former Mexican power to secure a point at the Estadio Omnilife. The draw did, however, allow Chivas to barely hold onto a playoff spot in Liga MX.
Sitting one point back of a said playoff spot is Tijuana. An early goal from Cristian Pellerano in Week 9 was negated by a late equalizer from Veracruz's Liber Quinones in the 81st minute. The match ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw. The club now enters Week 10 on a three-match winless streak.
