Darren Sharper has been awarded $178,000 by a Florida judge stemming from a suit he recently filed against a remodeling company he claims did a less than quality repair job on his condo.
According to TMZ, Sharper sued the construction company and an interior designer, claiming they "botched a very expensive job at swanky condo."
"There was work that wasn't done properly," said Sharper's attorney Michael Simon told TMZ. "There was work that wasn't completed. We went to court to get Darren's money back."
The 38-year-old can only hope for similar results in his pending cases. The former Super Bowl MVP remains jailed without bail in L.A. on rape and other charges. At least nine women in five different have accused the former NFL star with drugging and raping them after chance encounters,
Sharper was initially ordered held on the $200,000 bail he posted, but later that was increased to $1 million as more allegations were lodged against the NFL All Decade 2000 team player.
Since retiring after the 2010 season, Sharper worked as an analyst for the NFL Network, but was recently terminated by the network as the probe against him widens.
