Former MLB player Trevor Bauer hopes to focus solely on playing baseball moving forward after settling his legal issues with Lindsey Hill.

Both sides settled their respective lawsuits on Monday, October 2, that allegedly did not include any money. However, an email regarding the settlement showed that Hill received $300,000 through her insurance policy, TMZ reported.

As for Bauer, the 32-year-old pitcher released a shocking new video of his accuser. The MLB All-Star mentioned in the released clip that he retained his rights to speak publicly about the case, allegedly part of the settlement agreement.

The video included text messages sent to Bauer by Hill, something the 2020 NL Cy Young Award winner said was proof that he was being targeted for his money.

Another clip showed a smirking Hill in bed next to the embattled MLB star. According to Bauer, it was taken just minutes before she left his house on the morning of May 16, 2021.

More importantly, there were no visible injuries on Hill, who looked happy at the time.

"Over the last two years, I have been forced to defend my integrity and my reputation in a very public setting. But hopefully this is the last time I have to do so as I prefer to just remain focused on doing my job, winning baseball games and entertaining fans around the world. So today, I'm happy to be moving on with my life," Bauer said at the end of the shared video.

The incident has been a nightmare for Bauer, who parted ways with the Los Angeles Dodgers in January, the New York Post reported.

He is currently playing in Japan for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, signing a deal with the team back in March, Yahoo Sports reported.
