Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton confirmed for WrestleMania 33

As recapped by WWE.com, Randy Orton faced off against A.J. Styles for the first time ever to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE title at WrestleMania 33. In a back-and-forth and entertaining match, Orton won using his patented RKO.

The result officially confirms the rumored Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton match at WrestleMania 33. It will be interesting to see how the WWE champion responds to Orton following the attack on Sister Abigail's grave last week.

A.J. Styles confronts Shane McMahon after SmackDown went off the air

Another rumored match for WrestleMania 33 has taken shape when A.J. Styles confronted SmackDown Live commissioner Shane McMahon after the show went off the air. Clearly frustrated after his loss to Orton, Styles got into Shane's face and they had a really intense argument, per Wrestling Inc.

 It was an intense segment since producers and agents like Michael "PS" Hayes, "Road Dogg" Brian James, Jamie Noble and Michael Cole had to separate the two superstars. Although Styles deserves to main event WrestleMania 33, a match with Shane is not a bad consolation price.

Dean Ambrose suffers injured ribs at the hands of Baron Corbin

In this week's episode of SmackDown, Dean Ambrose was attacked from behind by Baron Corbin. "The Lone Wolf" used a lead pipe to take down Ambrose, as well as a forklift to do damage on his rival before officials came in and intervene.

Ambrose reportedly suffered significant injuries to his ribs but he is expected to make a full recovery before WrestleMania 33. According to Cageside Seats, Ambrose vs. Corbin for the Intercontinental championship is expected to be a gimmick match.

Mickie James turns on Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss made a new enemy on Tuesday night when her mentor Mickie James attacked her from behind after their tag team match on SmackDown. It's now every woman for herself as Daniel Bryan announced that Alexa will defend her women's title against every females superstar available on the SmackDown roster at WrestleMania 33.
