Fans of WWE that are hoping that CM Punk will make his first appearance on WWE television this Monday since he walked out are likely in for a disappointment as it doesn't seem as though "The Best in the World" will be on the episode of Monday Night RAW that airs this coming Monday from his hometown of Chicago.

A look back at CM Punk's best moments in the WWE.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Punk is not internally expected to appear on RAW from his hometown of Chicago this Monday, and there is some concern as to what the crowd will be like without Punk there.

The WWE is reportedly trying to make this episode of RAW very good so that the crowd will refrain from chanting for their hometown hero during the show. The WWE plans on having Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker confront each other on the show and there have even been rumors of WrestleMania XXX host Hulk Hogan making an appearance.

Possible spoilers for RAW without CM Punk

According to the report, when Punk was in Las Vegas for a UFC pay-per-view last weekend, he seemed non-committal about his status within the WWE and treated his stint in the company as though it was something in his past.

The report also states that there was no talk within the backstage area among talents at last week's RAW from Green Bay that people would be seeing Punk anytime soon.

Vince McMahon hoping to bring back CM Punk

Punk stormed out of the company the night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view mere hours before a live telecast of RAW, likely due to being burned out from traveling so much and due to the fact that he has been frustrated with his standing in the company.

Punk had been vocally critical about guys like Batista and The Rock returning after years of absence and getting main event spots at WrestleMania while he and guys like Daniel Bryan travel throughout the year and are given spots on the midcard at the biggest show of the year.

Punk has dreamed of main eventing WrestleMania, but with his contract expiring in July and rumors of him taking on Triple H in a singles match while Batista and Orton headline the show may have been the breaking point.

WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon is hoping to get Punk to come back, but if his behavior is any indication it doesn't seem as though Punk is gearing up for a return.

The WWE will try to avoid getting drowned out by "CM Punk" chants from the Chicago crowd this Monday at RAW, as it appears "The Best in the World" is done with the company.
