Acting as his own attorney, former NFL star Terrell Owens is reportedly asking a divorce court judge to require his wife to be responsible for all legal fees stemming from the proceedings.

According to TMZ, Owens, who once signed a single NFL contract worth $49 million dollars, checked the box asking the judge to make his Rachel Snider responsible for all his legal expenses.

Owens formally filed for divorce from wife Snider on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. In the documents, he stated the couple was married on Jan. 23 and had separated just three days later on Jan. 26.

In that time, Owens claims the couple acquired no community property, even though Snider alleges she now feels as if Owens only married her so he could get a loan on a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, CA.

TMZ adds Snider also insists the two were married for a full two weeks before she decided to leave him. She further alleges the two had a secret five-year relationship before they were married. The website also reports days after they're split, Snider was hospitalized for an apparent suicide attempt.

"How nice of him to run to the courthouse when I was in the hospital - and on Valentine's Day no less," Snider told TMZ. "If money isn't an issue - why doesn't he have an attorney?"
