LeBron James and the Miami Heat took home the NBA's Larry O'Brien Championship the last two seasons, but 'King James' presented his teammates with some more hardware in the form of WWE replica championship belts on Wednesday.
LEBRON JAMES EXPECTED TO RETURN FROM BROKEN NOSE THURSDAY.
The belts that James presented his teammates with are customized with the Miami Heat logo and the names of his teammates personalized on the titles.
James and the team seemed excited to have the belts and were eager to show them off on Twitter and Instagram as the team took a group photo raising and wearing the belts. James tweeted about it on Wednesday, saying, "I always wanted to be the WWE Heavyweight World Champion so today I surprised my teammates."
LEBRON JAMES 'CAN'T SEE HIMSELF' LEAVING MIAMI THIS OFFSEASON
"Wanna thank @StephMcMahon for her help with the gifts I gave my guys today! You're awesome!!," he tweeted.
James had asked for WWE belts in the past on Twitter and got some help from WWE Superstars The Rock and John Cena.
Miami has won the NBA title in the last two years and look to three-peat in 2014. The team currently sits at 40-14 and just two games behind the Indiana Pacers for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
James and Co. hoisted the WWE's highest championship for fun on Wednesday, but come June the team will be all business when it hopes to be hoisting the NBA's highest crown for the third straight season.
