It has been rumored that late former WWE manager Paul Bearer is expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the eve of WrestleMania XXX when the annual ceremony takes place April 5 from the New Orleans Arena.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Bearer was expected to be announced as a member of this year's Hall of Fame class on Monday's edition of WWE RAW which featured the return of Bearer's former charge The Undertaker.

According to the report, Bearer was supposed to be announced as the newest inductee into the Hall of Fame, however the WWE had to pull the announcement due to time constraints.

Jake Roberts is announced as a 2014 Hall of Fame inductee.

It is expected that the WWE will have Bearer's announcement made on next week's edition of RAW.

Bearer, who is really named William Moody, broke into the wrestling business as a manger by the name of Percy Pringle before jumping over to the WWE and donning the moniker Paul Bearer while managing the legendary Undertaker character. 'Taker and Bearer were together for many years until a storyline split in 1996 and were on-and-off during Moody's tenure with the company.

The Ultimate Warrior will be inducted in the 2014 Hall of Fame

The Paul Bearer character managed such wrestlers as Kane, Mankind and Goldust as well as The Undertaker. Moody made sporadic WWE appearances throughout the last couple of years of his life before ultimately passing away on March 5 at his home in Mobile, Ala. at the age of 58 after dealing with health problems.

Moody's Paul Bearer character was used following his death in the CM Punk and Undertaker storyline leading into their match at WrestleMania XXIX that saw Undertaker gain revenge on Punk's insensitive comments with a victory. The WWE released a statement following his death.

"WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer," the statement read via TMZ. "Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years. Our deepest condolences go out to Moody's family, friends and fans."

Bearer will likely be announced as joining classic superstars The Ultimate Warrior, Jake "The Snake" Roberts and former WWE Diva Lita as a member of the 2014 Hall of Fame Class. It is likely that The Undertaker inducts him on April 5.
