With The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar officially booked for WrestleMania XXX on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, it appears as though Steve "Sting" Borden may not appear on the card in New Orleans.

The ending of WWE Monday Night RAW involved a segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Heyman complained on behalf of Lesnar about the fact that Lesnar won't be involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the biggest show of the year, but revealed that Lesnar was given a contract by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to take on anyone he wants at the show.

When Lesnar and Heyman said that they didn't want to partake in the event unless "The Beast" was factored into a title match, The Undertaker came out to confront Lesnar. Lesnar then signed the contract to face 'Taker, and the Deadman responded by chokeslamming him through a table to end the segment. It had been rumored that 'Taker would either face Lesnar or Sting in a dream match, and it looks like it will be Lesnar vs. 'Taker in New Orleans.

With that match seemingly set in stone, it looks like Sting may not partake in the event as has been previously reported. The WWE had reportedly agreed to terms on a deal with Sting but were always considering signing the former WCW and TNA icon to a deal as a "low priority." The WWE has reportedly wanted to put on a Sting vs. Undertaker match for years but for whatever reason it didn't materialize this year.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE has preliminary plans in place to use Sting at WrestleMania 31 since Sting has California ties and the event emanates from the Bay Area in 2015. According to the report, Sting will likely have a match on that card--possibly against The Undertaker--and will then be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Sting was reportedly still hoping for a match against The Undertaker this year and is currently located in Dallas, making him willing to travel to The Undertaker's gym in Texas to meticulously workout the plans for the match. It was said that there were some concerns over whether or not Lesnar would be willing to do the same or if 'Taker could do a physical match that Lesnar likes doing.

Despite many concerns and the talks of a dream match between Sting and 'Taker, it appears Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker is set for WrestleMania XXX while Sting may not appear.
