Today at 12:00 p.m. ET, Finland and Canada faceoff live from the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi for Group B action as part of the 2014 Winter Olympics. The game can be live streamed for free here.

The two top teams in Group B go head-to-head as Canada and Finland each try to notch a victory in order to earn an automatic bye into the quarterfinals.

It remains to be seen who will be in net for each team. For the Canadians, Roberto Luongo (Vancouver Canucks) notched a shutout in a 6-0 win against Austria and Carey Price (Montreal Canadiens) manned the crease for a 3-1 win over Norway. For Finland, Tuuka Rask (Boston Bruins) struggled a bit during the team's 8-4 win over Austria while Kari Lehtonen (Dallas Stars) held his own between the pipes during a 6-1 win over Norway. Antti Niemi has yet to start for Finland.

Finland hasn't played Canada since the 2006 Olympics when the team defeated Canada 2-0 in group play on its way to the gold medal game. Eight years later, Canada comes in with more firepower than it did in 2006.

"They have four All-Star lines so it's not going to be easy," Teemu Selanne, who became the oldest player to score in Olympics history, told NHL.com. "We all know those guys. We play against them every day back home. It's going to be hard, but on the same hand it's going to be a challenge. We need a tough game now. It's a big ice surface so hopefully that's going to be an advantage for us."

Selanne, 43, has 20 points through 47 games for the Anaheim Ducks this season off of seven goals and 13 assists.

The gold medal-defending Canadiens looked unimpressive in a 3-1 victory over Norway, but they surged against Austria by earning a 6-0 victory. Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter notched a natural hat trick 10 minutes into the game.

"We're looking forward to the matchup against Finland," Carter's Olympic and Kings teammate Drew Doughty, who also scored in the last game, told NHL.com "Obviously they're going to be our toughest matchup yet. At the same time, no matter who we face we're going to have the same confidence and the same swagger. We're looking forward to it."

Doughty has 30 points through 59 games for the Kings this season, off of eight goals and 20 assists.

Canada and Finland each look to go 3-0 in group play when the puck drops today at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi as part of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
