Today at 7:30 a.m. ET, Russia and Slovakia faceoff live from the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi in Group A action as part of the 2014 Winter Olympics. The game can be live streamed here.

Russia will try to bounce back from a tough shootout lost to the United States on Saturday, and if it defeats Slovakia and Slovenia beats the United States, Russia could still win Group A. Slovakia will look to win its first game of the tournament against a heavily-favored hometown Russian team.

Russia will attempt to put the disappointment of Saturday behind it.

"Play the same game and we'll win," Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin said of Russia's chances Sunday, according to NHL.com. "It was a good game, very interesting, the best game we played so far. We showed great hockey."

Malkin has 58 points through 47 games for the Penguins this season off of 18 goals and 40 assists.

Pavel Datsyuk had two goals in regulation for Russia and added one of Russia's three tallies in the shootout, but Sergei Bobrovsky was bested four times in eight chances and the Americans were able to win.

Slovakia is winless in the tournament, after it dropped its opener 7-1 to the United States before Slovenia also handed them a defeat 3-1.

Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar has one of the only two goals that Slovakia has scored this tournament, and he feels as though the team needs to step up its effort.

"We will go away and figure out what we need to do and hopefully tomorrow we will be better against Russia," Tatar told the IIHF website after the loss to Slovenia.

Jaroslav Halak approved against Slovenia after being pulled against the United States, but the team still hasn't been able to win.

Halak is 24-8-4 this season for the St. Louis Blues with a 2.26 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.

Russia will look to bounce back from a tough loss while Slovakia searches for its first win of the tournament when these two take the ice for a Sochi Olympic matchup.
