Orlando Magic handed Charlotte Bobcats their 11th straight loss Saturday night.

For the Magic, Glen Davis and Arron Afflalo scored 20 points apiece, while Jameer Nelson added 16 points, six assists and chipped in four rebounds. J.J. Redick finished with 14 points and Nikola Vucevic had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

''This is a new team and we're still finding each other,'' The Associated Press quoted Davis as saying. ''As a team, we're learning and this was a game where we learned from our past experience.''

The Magic are playing better as a team and every player is contributing to the team's success. They are also closing the games well now. Against Bobcats they had a 15-5 run with 3:34 remaining, which ensured their victory in Saturday's game.

''Our huddle was composed, the players were composed and I think it showed on the floor,'' Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. ''It was great to see and great to see the process and our guys improving.''

Orlando shot well from the field and they had 43 out of 79 attempts, while Charlotte had only 38 of 78. The Magic had five 3-pointers in the game, whereas the Bobcats had only four.

''We were just being aggressive,'' Davis said. ''With me down there scoring some points and Arron and Jameer making things happen, it kind of set the tone for our play. And we were able to control the paint.''

For the Bobcats, Kemba Walker was the top scorer with a career-high 32 points, but he could not avoid his team's loss. Walker had seven assists and two rebounds.

''I'm trying to get better,'' Walker said. ''That's all you do at this point. I'm just doing whatever I can do to help my team win basketball games. No matter how many points I have I really don't care about that stuff. I'm just trying to win. It wasn't enough tonight.''

Gerald Henderson scored 16 points and shot five of 15 from the floor, while Byron Mullens had 12 points and he also shot a 3-pointer.

Walker had an outstanding shooting record at home with 45 percent success. He had 11 out of 20 attempts from the field against the Bobcats.

''He's a great young player,'' Nelson said of Walker. ''He's quick and one of the best scoring point guards in the league. There's a lot of time left in his career and he's going to get better.''

Orlando were leading at the end of the first half over the Bobcats 56-48. Charlotte outscored them in the third quarter 25-29, but they were still leading by four points. Walker reduced the gap with a three-pointer, but Magic managed to extend it again with a basket.

Nelson gave a pass to Vucevic, who scored to lead his team to a nine-point victory in the game.
