New York Knicks star forward and free agent to be Carmelo Anthony is vowing not to talk about his future plans during this week's All-Star festivities in New Orleans.
"We don't have time to talk like that," Anthony told the New York Post. "You guys are going to be there. We don't have time to just sit down and relax."
Expected to be pursued by a number of teams, Anthony has been linked to be both Bulls and the Lakers as defining moment approaches.
"A lot of guys - especially the people I call friends, the people I talk to - it's more making sure I'm all right, making sure I'm keeping my head up, making sure I'm staying positive," said Anthony, currently averaging a league second best 27.1-points.. "It's not, 'Whatcha gonna do?' or 'You should do this or you should do that.' It's more just being there during this time."
Despite a disappointing start to the season and a 20-31 record that currently leaves them on the playoffs, Anthony insists he is still upbeat about the Knicks.
"My head is always up," said Anthony. "I always remain confident and remain positive. And I've got to do that for my team."
