With the WWE's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view set to air on Feb. 23 live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, the WWE has continued to finalize the card and there are talks of adding a WWE Tag Team Championship match to the card while an Intercontinental title match may also be in the works.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE is planning on adding a tag title match between current champions The New Age Outlaws and The Usos. It had been speculated last week that the WWE may have been planning to have former champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust take on The Outlaws at the event and have Rhodes and Goldust split, leading into a WrestleMania XXX match between the two partners.

With the current reports of The Usos taking on The Outlaws, it would seem as though the WWE has taken Goldust and Rhodes out of the plans and switched in The Usos for the tag match. It's unknown whether or not the company will decide to have a match pitting Rhodes vs. Goldust at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on April 6.

The WWE has already had to nix a rumored match as CM Punk was supposed to take on Kane at the Elimination Chamber and bridge it into a match against Triple H at WrestleMania, but with Punk quitting the WWE prior to the Monday Night RAW episode the night after January's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the match was dropped. Daniel Bryan may take Punk's spot in facing Triple H at WrestleMania or get added into the main event on April 6.

There have already been three matches announced on the card, including the main event that pits WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton against John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Christian and Antonio Cesaro in an Elimination Chamber match. Other matches announced for the card are Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio and The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield in a six-man tag team match.

Following the spoilers from SmackDown, it appears as though the WWE is gearing up for an Intercontinental Championship match between Big E Langston and Jack Swagger in the future, but it's uncertain if it will happen either at the Elimination Chamber event, the pre-show to the pay-per-view, or some other time.

The Elimination Chamber airs in just over one week live from the Target Center in Minneapolis on Feb. 23.
