With WrestleMania XXX less than two months away, the WWE's creative plans are still very much up in the air, but the latest rumors indicate that the members of The Shield may square off in a triple threat match against one another on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there is talk of a match pitting Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns. The WWE reportedly plans on pushing Reigns into the main event scene very soon and the creative team has already planted the seeds for dissention among the trio that could ultimately come to a head at WrestleMania XXX.

Rumors also circulated that the WWE was thinking of adding Daniel Bryan into the main event title picture for WrestleMania XXX making it a triple threat match between Bryan, Batista and Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

According to the report, if the WWE does in fact add Bryan to the main event they are unlikely to have the triple threat match with The Shield since they don't want to have two triple threat matches on one card.

Bryan was also rumored to possibly take on Triple H at the show now that CM Punk--who was expected to face Triple H--has quit the company. If the WWE opts to do the Bryan and Triple H match, The Shield will likely partake in the triple threat while the main event will remain a singles match between Orton and Batista.

Other rumored matches for the show include The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust. It's expected that Reigns would likely go over if all three members of The Shield take on each other to build off of his dominant performances at the Survivor Series in November and the Royal Rumble in January to jump-start his push.

The WWE's intent on pushing Reigns as the next big single star will likely start at WrestleMania XXX, and if this match does indeed happen, there is likely to be an incident between The Shield at the Elimination Chamber event on Jan. 23 at the Target Center in Minneapolis when the trio takes on The Wyatt Family in a six-man tag team match.

With the WWE not confirming any plans until after the Elimination Chamber, the card for New Orleans remains somewhat of a mystery.
