It has been a week since the Seattle Seahawks routed the Denver Broncos at Super Bowl XLVIII, but many Seahawks players are still basking in the euphoria of their victory. For linebacker K.J. Wright, the Seahawks are so good that they can beat their Super Bowl opponents '90 out of 100 times.'

ESPN.com is reporting that Wright made the statement during a television interview on "Pro Football Talk" aired on Friday at the NBC Sports Network. The website further quoted Wright as saying: "They might've got lucky those other 10 times. They're a good football team, but you know the way we play, our style of play most teams just can't match up with it. We are really good at what we do, we run the ball really well, we stop the run, and we just out hit guys, so you know most teams just can't match up with our style of play."

Wright, a vital part of Seattle's much-vaunted defense, recorded seven tackles during the Seahawks' 43-8 dismantling of the Denver Broncos. The team forced four turnovers and made life miserable for league MVP Peyton Manning.

Recalling how the game turned out, Wright said: "The first play of the game, when they snapped the ball over their head, I was like, 'All right, man. We got these boys.' "If you start the game off like that, something's not right.

He continued: "When that happened, I was like, 'All right man, I got my nerves calmed down.' And I was like, 'OK, I believe we got this one.'"
