WWE legend The Undertaker will make his much-anticipated return to the ring in the February 24 edition of Raw, according to a report by PWInsider.com.

It is still not clear what the WWE superstar's storyline will be, with several rumors linking him to a potential match with former UFC and WWE champion Brock Lesnar or Sheamus. The last time the Undertaker was seen on WWE television, he was mauled by The Shield on Smackdown! During that taping aired on April 23 last year, the Man from Death Valley was put through a Triple Power Bomb and was badly hurt.

The Undertaker has been reduced to a part-timer in the past few years due to his recurring injuries and old age. Still, his character remains very well-liked. He is also undefeated at Wrestlemania with a 21-0 record which many observers believe will never be snapped.

The Undertaker's return happens a day after The Elimination Chamber PPV. The said Raw edition to be taped at Green Bay, Wisconsin will also directly launch WWE Network's live programming.

Many wrestling websites thus speculate that The Undertaker's return is aimed at enhancing fan interest on WWE Network which will go live at 11 pm Eastern time right after the Raw episode. After all, the Undertaker is one of the few old-timers in WWE who remains popular with contemporary wrestling fans. Hardcore wrestling fans can witness all of the Undertaker's best matches on the streaming on-demand service that comes with a $9.99 a month subscription with six-month commitment.
