With WrestleMania XXX launching less than two months from now, the WWE is starting to finalize the card and it seems even though Sting wasn't seen as a top priority to sign, he may even appear at the event on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, while there have also been talks of a match pitting Sheamus vs. Ryback.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that even though Sting was seen as a low priority due partly to the trouble the WWE has gone through to sign him in the past, the WWE would like him to be part of the organization because they realize Sting is the last piece of the WCW puzzle as they've signed many WCW cornerstones but have been unable to land Sting, who has been a TNA mainstay since WCW was bought out by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon in 2001.

The report also indicates that the WWE realizes that a lot of money can be made through Sting merchandise such as T-shirts, action figures and other things. The WWE had reportedly been working on creative ideas for Sting using the "A Man Called Sting" moniker, and he is expected to sign a deal with the company any day now.

It was reported earlier this week that the WWE wasn't planning on using him at WrestleMania XXX and that he may appear in a vignette if nothing else, but Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE may actually use Sting at the event in New Orleans in some capacity while a match is likely out of the question.

The Undertaker was rumored to be in the plans to face Sting, but with it taking longer than they thought to sign Sting, the WWE is likely to go with the rumored Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar match.

While Sting won't appear at this year's event in a match, he will likely be a huge part in the WrestleMania 31 event next year in California. With Sting being a California native, the current plans call for him to have one or two matches with the company leading into a final match at WrestleMania 31 and a possible Hall of Fame induction for Sting.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that there is also set to be a Sheamus vs. Ryback match at WrestleMania XXX as the company will build towards that feud in the coming weeks. It was rumored that Ryback would face Goldberg at the event, but with the WWE unable to land Goldberg due to the sides not agreeing on terms, it seems as though Ryback is headed for a feud with Sheamus.

While Sting may not appear at the event, he is destined to be a huge part of the WWE's plans heading into 2015.
