With the WWE still reeling from last Monday's loss of CM Punk, they could be suffering a loss of another star after this past Monday as Alberto Del Rio reportedly expressed his frustration with his standing in the company backstage during RAW and could be also gearing up to leave the WWE once his contract expires.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there was talk backstage Monday during RAW about Del Rio making some noise about wanting to depart from the WWE once his contract expires.

Del Rio, who was a top guy on SmackDown and has even held the World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Championship two times each, has become frustrated with his role within the company diminishing. The 2011 Royal Rumble winner feels as though he's gone from a top guy in the organization to just being fed to the returning Batista which has frustrated him enough to make some rumblings about departing.

According to the report, many people backstage feel that with Del Rio's age (36) and the fact that he's had success in Mexico mixed with the fact that he's previously discussed retiring, maybe the best thing for him is to be happy rather than hang on to the WWE and become upset.

There is no word yet on whether or not Del Rio is working on a contract extension, but after RAW on Monday night there is at least some concern that Del Rio won't be coming back when his contract expires soon.

Del Rio is rumored to take on Batista in a one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber on Feb. 23 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, while his name hasn't appeared in many rumors for the huge WrestleMania XXX event on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, possibly adding to his frustration.

The WWE had to deal with the departure of CM Punk prior to the Jan. 27 edition of Monday Night RAW due to disputed reasons, with some reports linking Punk's frustration over his standing with the company as well as his planned WrestleMania XXX match with Triple H to his reasons for departing while others believe he left because he was hurt.

It remains to be seen if Del Rio will in fact return to the company once his contract expires, but between his frustrations, Punk's frustrations and the vocal frustrations of the WWE's audience, it's become a turbulent time in the company with its biggest show ever getting set to launch in just over two months at WrestleMania XXX.
