It was reported that the WWE held creative meetings last week to rehash plans for the WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view event, and while it was expected that there could be some changes with CM Punk quitting and the unfavorable audience responses as of late, it appears as though not much will change in the direction the WWE is headed towards for the event on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

With CM Punk quitting, the WWE has switched gears to having Daniel Bryan feud with Triple H and The Authority, and while it appears Bryan is headed towards a program with Kane, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Bryan is still expected to face Triple H at WrestleMania XXX. The report indicates that nobody within the WWE expects Bryan to go over, meaning that Triple H will likely win the match.

If that's the case, it will likely upset many of the fans in attendance since Bryan is one of the most "over" stars in the company right now--especially with the departure of Punk--and the fans recoiled at the fact that he wasn't featured in the Royal Rumble match. Bryan is taking Punk's spot in the feud with Triple H.

The report notes that while the WWE met to discuss the creative aspects behind the biggest pay-per-view of the year, there likely won't be any changes to the main plans and it seems as though they are still going with Triple H vs. Bryan, Batista vs. Randy Orton, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar as the main matches for WrestleMania XXX.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, even though Lesnar and Batista have crossed paths on Monday Night RAW and seemed to be hinting at a match for the big event, the WWE isn't planning on having them square off in New Orleans. Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that despite the WWE teasing a Batista and Lesnar confrontation on recent television, it is likely used as a build up for a future feud.

Lesnar and Batista are not expected to go head-to-head at the event, instead the WWE is using the recent encounters as a way to build for something later on in the year, possibly a SummerSlam match in August.

A lot can change between now and WrestleMania XXX, but it appears as though not many changes were made recently despite the WWE holding meetings.
