Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks (33-10-14, 80 points) and Los Angeles Kings (30-21-6, 66 points) faceoff live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the third and final meeting against each other this season. Chicago has lost five of its last six games while Los Angeles has dropped three straight contests. The Blackhawks have defeated the Kings twice in Chicago this season, notching a 3-1 victory on Dec. 15 and a 1-0 win on Dec. 30.

The Blackhawks are coming off of a 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks in a shootout.

"The way overtime has gone with us it's a little disappointing," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said afterward per NHL.com, "but we've been doing some good things 5-on-5 during the game."

The Kings are coming off of a 2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

"I'm pretty frustrated, but like I said, you've got to get over it," Kings defenseman Drew Doughty said afterward. "You've got to get past it. This can make us stronger. Going through this little slip, it seems like it happens every year with the Kings at some point. We're going turn this thing around and we're going to go the other way with it and become better from it."

The Kings have been led offensively by Anze Kopitar, who has 43 points off of 16 goals and 27 assists while Mike Richards has seven markers and 28 helpers for 35 points and Jeff Carter has found the twine 20 times while adding 14 assists for 34 points.

Patrick Kane has paced the Blackhawks with 60 points off of 25 goals and 35 assists while Patrick Sharp has 28 tallies and 27 helpers for 55 points and Jonathan Toews has lit the lamp 18 times and added 34 assists for 52 points.

Corey Crawford will likely start in net for Chicago and is 20-8-10 with a 2.40 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage while Jonathan Quick will likely man the crease for Los Angeles and is 15-12-2 with a 2.13 GAA and a .913 save percentage.
