Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Ottawa Senators (24-21-10, 58 points) and Pittsburgh Penguins (38-15-2, 78 points) faceoff live from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh for the second of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Ottawa fans can hear all of the action on TSN 1200 while Pittsburgh fans can do the same on 105.9 WXDX.
Ottawa enters play having won two of their last three games while Pittsburgh sits atop the Eastern Conference and has also won two of its last three. The first time these two teams met, the Senators shutout the Penguins 5-0 in Ottawa on Dec. 23.
The Penguins are coming off of a 3-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.
"[Saturday] was a tough-fought game. There wasn't a lot out there,'' Pittsburgh coach Dan Bylsma said via NHL.com. ''That's the kind of games we expect. We have to be able to play a patient game, not be taking chances with the way we play or the way we play with the puck.''
The Senators blew a 2-0 lead and eventually fell to the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-3 on Saturday.
''I felt we played hard,'' Senators forward Chris Neil said per NHL.com. ''We gave up some chances in the second, but I thought we settled it down there in the third and got back after them. I don't think it's a 6-3 hockey game, that's for sure. It was pretty close back and forth.''
The Senators have been led by Erik Karlsson, who has 51 points off of 13 goals and 38 assists while Bobby Ryan has 20 tallies and 22 helpers for 42 points and Kyle Turris and Clarke MacArthur have each lit the lamp 18 times while adding 24 assists for 42 points.
Sidney Crosby has paced the Penguins with 75 points off of 27 goals and 48 assists while Chris Kunitz is 3-5-8 in his last five games and has 27 markers and 28 helpers for 55 points and Evgeni Malkin is 3-1-4 in his past five contests and has found the back of the net 16 times while adding 38 assists for 54 points.
Marc-Andre Fleury will likely man the crease for Pittsburgh, and he is 29-13-1 with a 2.28 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage while Craig Anderson will likely suit up for Ottawa and is 18-11-7 with a 3.07 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
The Senators and Penguins go head-to-head when the puck drops tonight at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
