Richard Sherman Classless? Begs Seahawks Fans To Stop Bashing Peyton Manning Embarrassing Loss On Twitter: 'Seattle Let's Just Enjoy This One' [VIDEO]

The Seattle Seahawks crushed the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning's historically prolific offense by a score of 43-8 on Sunday night. Many fans took to Twitter to have fun at Manning's expense, however Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is pleading for it to stop.

Sherman, known for his loud mouth and poor sportsmanship after the NFC Championship game, had kind words for the vanquished legend.

"Peyton is the Classiest person/player I have ever met! I could learn so much from him! Thank you for being a great Competitor and person," Sherman tweeted. He quickly fired off another one that read, "There is no reason to bash him on here please Seattle let's just enjoy this one!!!! He is still a Future HOF player."

Denver's offense couldn't do anything against the Legion of Boom, the Seahawks' vaunted secondary. Peyton finished the night 34-of-49, with 280 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. While the game was ugly, don't call it embarrassing in front of Manning.

"It's not embarrassing at all, I would never use that word,'' Manning said. "The word embarrassing is an insulting word, to tell you the truth. We played a great team. We needed to play really well in order to win, and we didn't come anywhere close to that."

Sherman didn't embarrass himself during his postgame interviews either, displaying a humility many fans didn't think he was capable of. "We played to our standard," Sherman said following the big win.

"It was a team effort. It was a total team effort: The back end, the linebackers, the d-line, everybody did their parts today. And hats off to Peyton Manning. He's the offensive MVP, offensive player of the year, and no disrespect to him. He's still a great quarterback, one of the best all-time. But today we just played sound football, we were able to execute. And we did it."
