Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker is fulfilling a dream by playing in the Super Bowl, but his wife and reality star Jessie James believes that she and the other wives of the Broncos players have something to do with the team's success. James believes that the prayers of her and the other players' wives have played a hand in the Broncos trip to MetLife Stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII against the Seahawks.
"I'm like over the moon that we are here," James told ABC News. "The wives definitely pray together before each game. We did a big prayer before the last playoff game, we all sit there hand in hand, eyes closed and just pray. Now, we are here and we know our prayers worked, so we'll have to do it again this week!"
James, who stars alongside her husband on the Eric and Jessie reality television show, believes that her husband will gain the Lombardi Trophy when Super Bowl XLVIII is said and done.
"When they win, I'm going to be extremely excited and we are going to celebrate," James said via ABC News. "There will be a lot of tears and laughter for sure."
James said that she prepares for her husband's biggest game the same way she does for any other.
"The morning of games I get butterflies. At the game, I'm not really one of those that's jumping and screaming," she said per ABC News. "I get very, very serious, very pensive. I'm just concentrating."
James, who recently had a shower for her forthcoming baby girl, said she will relax once the big game is over as she prepares for her daughter.
"After the game, I'll go right back to Denver and just relax until this baby hatches," James told ABC News.
James dropped a hint that her baby's name will start with a 'V' but wouldn't go into much more detail.
"It's not a family name or anything," James told ABC News. "It's a very Southern, traditional name that I fell in love. It's actually the name of one of the characters in one of my favorite movies as well. Eric loved it immediately, we didn't even think twice about it."
In his fourth year with the Broncos, Decker hauled in 87 receptions for 1,288 yards while reaching the end zone 11 times.
