The New York Daily News is reporting Kanye West has reached a six-figure settlement with the California teen he allegedly attacked after he hurled racial slurs at fiancee Kim Kardashian.
According to The News, the unidentified 18-year-old teen is set to pocket up to $250,000 stemming from the Jan. 13 incident where the hip-hop star reportedly punched him in a Beverly Hills office building after he shouted at Kardashian "f--k you b--ch. Just trying to help. Shut up ni---r lover, stupid slut."
The newspaper adds sources indicated the alleged victim "initiated something with Kanye's reps, an overture for money." Still, The News reports Beverly Hills Police have submitted evidence in the misdemeanor battery case to the Los Angeles District Attorney and it is now under review.
"She's tiny, and if someone is following you screaming, 'Slut! N---er lover! C--t,' you don't know if you're dealing with an insane person who will go postal and hurt you," a source told The News is rationalizing West's subsequent actions. "She was so upset, she was crying."
Several media outlets have previously reported West was called to the scene by Kardashian by cell phone and he arrived there within minutes of being summoned.
