The game can be live streamed here. Boston fans can hear all of the action on WBZ 1030 while New York fans can do the same on WRHU 887.

Boston is winners of two straight and three of their last four while New York has lost two in a row and three out of its last five. The Islanders look for the season sweep after defeating the Bruins 3-1 in New York on Nov. 2 and then 5-3 in Boston on New Year's Eve.

The Bruins enter play with Zdeno Chara looking to notch his 500th career point. He didn't participate in Sunday's practice due to what coach Claude Julien described as a maintenance day.

"He's a big man, needs some time off, not in his mind but in our minds, so every once in a while we force him to stay off," Julien said of Chara, according to NHL.com.

The Islanders let a one-goal lead slip away in regulation against the St. Louis Blues Saturday with just 27 seconds left in the game. The team appeared to win the game in overtime but their tally was overturned after a review showed the puck was kicked in, and the team eventually fell 4-3 in a shootout.

"We had the lead with 20 seconds left and we didn't get the job done," captain John Tavares, who has a six-game point streak going, said via NHL.com. "That's a big point we lost."

Tavares leads the Islanders with 64 points off of 23 goals and 41 assists while Kyle Okposo has 22 tallies and 32 helpers for 54 points and Thomas Vanek has found the back of the net 19 times and added 28 assists for 47 points.

David Krejci is 1-5-6 in his past four games and paces the Bruins with 42 points while finding the back of the net 10 times and adding 32 assists, while Reilly Smith has 16 markers and 21 helpers for 37 points and Jarome Iginla (15 goals, 18 assists) and Patrice Bergeron (13 goals, 20 assists) each have 33 points.

In net, New York announced they're turning to Kevin Poulin, who is 11-15-1 with a 3.16 goals-against average and a .894 save percentage while Boston will likely go with Tuukka Rask, who is 23-12-3 with a 2.08 GAA and a .930 save percentage.

The Bruins look for their third straight win while the Islanders strive for the season sweep when the puck drops tonight at the Nassau Coliseum in New York
