Today at 12:30 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (27-23-3, 57 points) and New Jersey Devils (22-19-11, 55 points) faceoff live from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx as part of the NHL's Stadium Series. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the action on 98.7 ESPN New York while New Jersey fans can do the same on 101.9 WFAN.

Only two points separate these two Metropolitan Division rivals and they take their rivalry outdoors as the second of four games to be played as part of the NHL Stadium Series, and the third outdoor game of six that are slated to take place this year in the NHL.

This is the fourth of five meetings between these teams and the Devils have taken all three games from the Rangers so far, winning 4-3 in overtime the last time these teams played on Dec. 7 in Madison Square Garden.

The Rangers haven't fared well against the Devils and come into play on the back of a two-game losing streak, but they've won six of 10 overall and felt good about their last performance--a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.

"We came out and played really strong," Henrik Lundqvist told The Daily News after Thursday's game. "There are a lot of things we will take with us for the next couple games."

Lundqvist is slated to start both Stadium Series games as the Rangers play the Islanders on Wednesday night back at Yankee Stadium. He is 17-18-3 with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage this season. He'll be opposed by Martin Brodeur, who is 13-10-4 with a 2.36 GAA and a .905 save percentage.

The Devils have won two straight games and will look for their fourth in a row against New York this season. In their final tune-up before the Stadium Series, the Devils topped the Washington Capitals 2-1 on Friday in a game that saw leading scorer Jaromir Jagr reach 10th place on the all-time assists list after he set up both New Jersey goals.

Jagr said he didn't realize the accomplishment and was more focused on how the team should improve its play despite a win.

"We didn't play well," Jagr told ESPN New York. "We're lucky we got two points. They are struggling and we didn't score when we had the chance. We didn't play very well and it almost cost us a game."

Jagr paces the Devils with 42 points off of 16 goals and 26 assists while Marek Zidlicky (eight goals, 19 assists) and Patrik Elias (seven tallies, 20 helpers) each have 27 points thus far.

Brad Richards has led the Rangers with 38 points while lighting the lamp 13 times and adding 25 assists while Mats Zuccarello has 13 markers and 22 helpers for 35 points and Derek Stepan has found the back of the net nine times and added 24 assists for 33 points.

Two fierce rivals take their rivalry outdoors when the Rangers and Devils hit the ice at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx as part of the NHL Stadium Series this afternoon.
